What types of floor plans will be available?

Independent Living at The Pinnacle offers 88 one- and two-bedroom apartment homes, ranging in size (approximately) from just under 730 square feet to more than 1,800 square feet of living space. All include a full-sized kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances, expansive living room, walk-in closets and washer & dryer. Most include floor-to-ceiling windows and a dedicated open-air balcony.

What are the move-in and monthly fees for Independent Living residences?

As a luxury rental community for independent senior living, The Pinnacle does not charge a large, upfront entrance fee as some communities do. We charge a monthly lease rate based on the size, style and location of your residence, as well as the number of occupants. Monthly lease rates for a one-bedroom residence in Independent Living start at $8,395, and monthly rates for a two-bedroom residence start at $11,395.

A resident’s monthly service fee includes housing, a flexible monthly meal plan, bi-monthly housekeeping, utilities, cable and Wi-Fi, a robust calendar of events and organized outings, concierge services, maintenance services and scheduled transportation.

Are Pinnacle residents in Independent Living permitted to have pets?

Yes. The Pinnacle is pet friendly. We recognize that beloved pets are part of your family.

What safety measures are in place for Independent Living residents?

The safety and comfort of all Pinnacle residents is paramount to us. We will employ policies and protocols to keep our community immaculately clean, safe and ready to serve you. All residences are access-controlled, as is our secured and monitored underground garage parking. To safeguard the health of all who live and work here, we’ve taken the unprecedented step of installing the Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization (NBPI) system in all common areas to minimize COVID-19 and other airborne viruses. Residents of The Pinnacle can breathe easily knowing the enhanced HVAC systems include fresh air, MERV-13 filtration, and smaller HVAC “zones” to limit cross-contamination.

What types of floor plans will be available?

The floor plan variations for independent living at The Trillium are still in development. There will be 101 Independent Living apartment homes, with 39 featuring a two-bedroom floor plan, and 61 featuring a one-bedroom floor plan. They will range in size from just under 700 square feet to more than 1,500 square feet of living space. Some floor plans will be available with a den. Our Assisted Living residences will be offered in one-, and two-bedroom configurations, with living rooms and kitchenettes available. They will feature upscale touches and polished finishes, high ceilings, bright windows, and large bathrooms with walk-in showers. Though the Trillium will offer all levels of living, we will also be a premier Assisted Living community in McLean, Virginia.

May couples live together in an Assisted Living residence?

Yes, of course. The Trillium has a dedicated neighborhood of Assisted Living residences where couples may live and receive the extra assistance they need. But if just one spouse should require assistance, our caregivers will also visit the apartment homes of Independent Living residents to provide aid and care for the partner who needs it. In either scenario, a couple will be able to continue living together.

What safety measures are in place for Assisted Living residents?

All residences in Assisted Living at The Trillium Tysons are designed to provide ample lighting, wide-threshold doorways to accommodate wheel chairs, stability bars in all bathrooms, and emergency-call capability.

What costs are associated with Assisted Living at The Trillium?

Generally, a resident’s monthly lease fee will consist of a Base Rate, which includes housing, dining, services and amenities. If care and services for Assisted Living are needed, that will add to the Base Rate. Memory Care is delivered at an all-inclusive rate. Are pets permitted in Assisted Living residences?

Yes. Just as they are in Independent Living residences.

What type of Memory Care will residents receive at The Trillium Tysons?

Our Memory Care team members receive certified training in Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care^®, a proven method to enhance the quality of life and relationships of those living with brain change.

How will I know if Memory Care is right for my loved one?

What type of housing accommodations are available for Memory Care residents?

The Trillium will have 24 memory care residences located in our 2nd floor Memory Care neighborhood which has its own secured terrace for fresh air and calming views.
